About Us: History

The records of our firm date back to 1742. For two hundred years it was run by successive generations of the Kendall family at Bourton-on-the-Water, the last of whom can still be remembered by many local people.

We keep the Kendall name in our title as a mark of our respected heritage.

The family nature of the firm continued when W.G. ("Tony") Davies joined in 1948. He is now a Consultant and two of his sons, Huw and Richard, are the current Directors of Kendall & Davies Limited. They both practiced in London before joining the firm.

The firm serves clients not only in the Cotswolds but also throughout the United Kingdom and overseas.
